Jugaad Magazine is an independent initiative, powered by Maker’s Asylum, a community maker space in Mumbai and Delhi. The concept of the magazine, like all great ideas, emerged over a dinner of bacon and mashed potato. Jugaad Magazine hopes to take the conversation about the maker movement beyond the walls of Maker Spaces scattered across the country. There are interesting stories in these spaces that we hope to bring aboard one single, open platform. As the name suggests, we also aspire to tap into the large but disorganised industry of frugal street innovation in India. The READ section will take you through stories of people and projects, look to DO for DIY instructions and GO will take you to maker events at a location nearest to you. There’s a movement brewing in India’s innovation belly, Jugaad Magazine is simply capturing the stories. Happy Reading!
