Imtiaz Khan is quick to clarify that he is a businessman. His inspiration to start NovatechRobo came when he was based in the US and saw how easily accessible boards and tools were as compared to India.

We have to start somewhere, he says. So he started from home. His Bangalore based workshop boasts a team of 20 Engineers, Technocrats and Educators in collaboration with associates in USA and Japan. They started off by developing a course curriculum for training in schools, particularly in STEM Subjects. Today, they also conduct National and International competition in robotics.
“Developing Robots for various applications is one of our motto,” says Khan. “We continue to thrive in Robot development for various applications. We provide world class technology driven and sustainable products solution and services to our clients, bringing a portfolio of quality brands to the world.”
They also developed some of their own kits to offer more affordable alternatives for local consumers and makers. Here’s a walk through their offerings;

DMTF Robot

DTMF robot is a DIY kit for students to build their own Mobile controlled robot which will follow commands given through mobile. The kit contains building instructions and all supporting materials for the building of robot. Conventionally, Wireless-controlled robots use rf circuits, which have the drawbacks of limited working range, limited frequency range and the limited control. Use of a mobile phone for robotic control can overcome these limitations. It provides the advantage of robust control, working range as large as the coverage area of the service provider, no interference with other controllers and up to twelve controlers.

Features

1) Easy and simple to build a robot.
2) No soldering or gluing required, Made for complete beginners.
3) Develop skills of microelectronics, robotics and sensors
4) Start in 10 minutes – easy and quick start into robotics.
5) No programming is needed

Follow me robot is a DIY kit for students to build their own robot which will follow a person/vehicle or object. The kit contains building instructions and all supporting materials for the building of robot, using Ultra sonic sensor it detects the object and follows it. It has wide application to make a trolley in a mall to follow, a student make its book follow him, helpful for handicapped students and old person.

Features

1) Easy and simple to build a robot.
2) No soldering or gluing required, Made for complete beginners.
3) Develop skills of microelectronics, robotics and sensors
4) Start in 10 minutes – easy and quick start into robotics.
5) No programming is needed

Gesture Robot

A Gesture Controlled robot is a kind of robot which can be controlled by your hand gestures not by old buttons. You just need to wear a small transmitting device in your hand which included an acceleration meter. This will transmit an appropriate command to the robot so that it can do whatever we want . Gesture robot is a DIY kit for students to build their own Gesture controlled robot which will follow commands given through Movement of Hand. The kit contains building instructions and all supporting materials for the building of robot. Gesture controlled robots are used Mostly in military application, industrial robotics, construction vehicles in civil side, medical application for surgery.

Features

1) Easy and simple to build a robot.
2) No soldering or gluing required, Made for complete beginners.
3) Develop skills of microelectronics, robotics and sensors
4) Start in 10 minutes – easy and quick start into robotics.
5) No programming is needed

Light Following Robot

The light following robot is a mobile machine which is capable of detecting and following the light source on the traveling path..Light following robot is a DIY kit for students to build their own robot which will follow a light in dark back ground. The kit contains building instructions and all supporting materials for the building of robot, using light sensors it detects the light and follows it.

Features

Line Following Robot

It is a machine that follows a line, either a black line on white surface or vise-versa. For Beginners it is usually their first robot to play with this will teach you to make the line follower robot move on the line with a type of feedback mechanism. It’s the most basic example of adding small intelligence to a robot, but it’s actually the designer’s intelligence!!Line following robot is a DIY kit for students to build their own robot which will follow a black line in white back ground. The kit contains building instructions and all supporting materials for the building of robot, using light sensors it detects the black line and follows it.

Features

1) Easy and simple to build a robot.

Drone Building is great for enthusiasts who would like to jump into making UAV/Quadcopter/Drone. Quadcopter, also called a Quadrotor helicopter, is a rotary-wing aircraft with four rotors which has marked its interests for the benefit of both civil and military domains. Its amazing manoeuvrability and the ease to fly in constricted locations have achieved itself a remarkable position in the aviation sector. Join us for a chance to experience fun and easy way of building your own Drone. It is thrilling to explore the science behind these Drones and understanding the hidden secrets of aeronautical engineering. It is going to be an incredible way to spend a Saturday. The facilitator at Nuts and Boltz is super passionate, knowledgeable, and easy to understand.

bubblemonkeyBubble Monkey

This monkey will blow the bubbles. According to program, initially whenever the person comes in front of the monkey in the given range it will sense and then arm will activate, it will start blowing the bubbles continuously until the person moves from there.

Welcome Robot

This robot welcomes the guests by giving the rose and prerecorded voice will be played given as message at the particular action. According to the program, initially whenever the person comes in front of the robot in the given range it will sense and say “Welcome to Novatech Robo”. Then arm will activate, it will pick the rose from the flower stand and give it to the person and it will say “Please collect the rose”. Until that person moves his hand to the collect rose it will hold the flower and once he pass his hand, robot will open it fingers, it will say “Thank you” and will move to the arm initial position.

Robotic Arm

A robotic arm is a typical mechanical arm, programmed to function, like a human arm; The arm can be programmed to do autonomous repetitive jobs. This Robotic Arm which is controlled by the gesture of your hand using LEAP MOTION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY where the motion of the artificial arm is controlled by movement of our arm at distance and the signals are sent to the Novaboard through wireless communication. In the game you are required to pick any two objects and drop into the box in 2 minutes. It will determine your control over the movement of your arm and level of concentration.

Benefits

Some Applications of the Robotic Arm are in:
1) NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS
2) DIFFUSING BOMBS
3) MILITARY OPERATIONS
4) HAZARDOUS INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
